Water Volume At Pressure

Water Volume At Pressure

posted by colin on 19 July 2009 at 8:17 pm

Hi
I`ve searched high and low for a formula, hopefully some kind soul can help me out with this question..
A steel pipe with a volume of 2.14L is filled completely with water at 95psi
(Note, there`s no air in the pipe, which is compressible, only water).
How much of the 2.14L of water would need to be drained in order to reduce the water pressure in the pipe to 26psi?

many thanks
